Off to the Market

Early in the morning, Amara woke up and put on her sandals. Today was market day, and she was going to help her grandmother sell vegetables.

They filled two big baskets with tomatoes, onions, and green beans. Amara carried the small basket, and her grandmother carried the big one.

The walk to the market was long, but Amara did not mind. She loved market day. It was noisy, colorful, and full of friendly faces.
