Week 1 — Ward Vocabulary and Introducing Yourself
Introducing yourself to a patient sets the tone for the whole interaction: name, role, and reason for being there.
Example: "Good morning, I'm Nurse Adeyemi. I'll be checking your vitals and reviewing your chart before the doctor's rounds."
Keep the pace slow and the language plain — patients are often anxious, and clarity matters more than formality here.
